Greenvironment GmbH, Karl-Marx-Allee 90A, 10243 Berlin

Greenvironment specialises in technology for the construction and operation of autonomous cogeneration plants for biogas and natural gas. We lead the field in the use of microturbines in autonomous power plants and currently operate more than fifty microturbines supplied by Capstone, for whom we have the exclusive sales rights.

Greenvironment was founded in 2002 in Finland and expanded to Germany in early 2006 with the establishment of Greenvironment GmbH. We currently employ 18 staff at our locations Berlin and Schmalkalden.

Greenvironment specialises in the medium output range between 50 kilowatts and 2 megawatts of electrical power. We started out in Germany with cogeneration plants for agricultural biogas, but since 2008 we have also offered solutions for natural gas, with the focus on public utilities and municipalities.

The expansion of autonomous power generation systems is a necessity for the energy industry and this aim is supported by subsidy schemes around the world.

Microturbines have an important part to play in this, since their excellent overall efficiency, environmental compatibility and reliability of supply make a decisive contribution towards meeting national and international environmental targets.

Greenvironment's aim is to use innovative cogeneration technology to pave the way in the expansion of autonomous power generation using biogas and natural gas. Greenvironment currently operates in Scandinavia, Germany and Eastern Europe.

Greenvironment GmbH is a subsidiary of Greenvironment plc. More information about the Greenvironment Group you can find here.
