The Greenvironment standard cogeneration plant (CHP) consists of:
the CR200 200 kWel microturbine and the system container with the following built-in systems:
Gas preparation (purification, compression, cooling)
Gas analysis system
Control system (1 cabinet for consumed and generated electricity, 1 cabinet for plant control and communication with the Greenvironment control centre)
Heat distribution (heat exchanger, safety valves)
The Greenvironment cogeneration plants are based on clean microturbine technology and are installed in a compact, modular container system. The standard plant consists of two main components: the CR200 microturbine and the system container, which not only contains the gas preparation and analysis systems but also the control and heat distribution systems.
Because of their low emissions and quiet operation, Greenvironment cogeneration plants are ideal for use in populated areas.
Depending on the location, the generated electrical power is not the only useable product: the high thermal efficiency of the microturbine offers a wide range of other uses, such as heating for buildings, drying and steam generation.
The compact cogeneration plants can supply power to individual premises such as clinics, greenhouses and swimming baths, as well as to residential areas, industrial sites or business estates. The Greenvironment cogeneration technology can be used wherever there is a substantial demand for heating.
As well as this, the biomass fuel is CO2-neutral and thus significantly helps protect the environment and conserve resources. Significantly less carbon is released during combustion than the plants absorbed while they were growing.
