Drying made easy

Use the heat in exhaust air economically

Using the waste heat of microturbines is becoming increasingly important for drying processes of high-quality products. Drying systems are used in the industrial (e.g. paper drying) and in agricultural sector (e.g. digestate drying). In most cases, large quantities of energy are required to evaporate water or solvents.

Due to their exhaust gas temperature of 280 °C, microturbine plants can be efficiently used for diverse drying processes. Due to the direct use of waste heat, the microturbines operate particularly economically. Up to 95 of the overall efficiency of the microturbine CHP plant is achieved and is maintained over a large range, even within the partial load range.

You can use the exhaust air from microturbine CHP plants for drying processes directly, without a downstream catalyst. Due to the almost complete combustion of the gas, the exhaust air of microturbine CHP plants contains only small fractions of nitrogen oxide and formaldehyde. In addition, the exhaust air contains a residual oxygen content of around 18 %.

Drying high-quality products requires individual system solutions. We design and produce our plants for specific projects, to specific customer and national  requirements. To this end, we supply the complete plant engineering from a single source: Microturbine, adapted instrumentation and control systems and all  necessary safety equipment.

The system components are precisely matched to each other and therefore ensure perfect interaction.
