Michael Gawenda has joined Greenvironment plc as its new CFO in the second half of August 2011. He is in charge of Finance as well as of Investor relations. He has gained a considerable experience in the finance and accounting area as well as in the controlling, mergers & acquisitions and financing sectors.

In the past he has covered a number of different managing positions in energy companies, machine building and power-plant industries as well as in the media sector. He also has gained major experience both in the USA and in Great Britain.

Before joining Greenvironment, Michael Gawenda has served for five years as CFO and responsible for the Investor relations at Splendid Medien AG, a General Standard listed company.

Michael Gawenda has studied Economics at the University of Bochum and there he has gained his diploma.

He was born in Germany in 1962 and aside German he speaks English and French.
